(KRON) — Two Rohnert Park residents pleaded guilty to operating an illegal fishing business out of their home for more than a decade, according to prosecutors.
Richard and Shalley Tran were involved in unlawful commercialization of sport-caught fish along the Sonoma Coast, the Sonoma County District Attorney’s Office said.
As part of the resolution of the case, the Trans forfeited $66,000 in cash that state wildlife officials seized from their home, as well as fishing gear. Prosecutors said the $66,000 was just a portion of profits the Trans made from their fishing activities…
