A Toledo police officer accused of shoplifting from a Walmart store in Holland twice in the spring entered a no-contest plea Friday morning to a reduced charge in Sylvania Municipal Court.
Gregory Long, Jr., 42, could be fined $250 and be sent to jail for 30 days for the fourth-degree misdemeanor count of unauthorized use of property. But after finding him guilty, Visiting Judge S. Dwight Osterud delayed sentencing after defense lawyer Larry DiLabbio requested a presentence investigation.
