A fatal shooting that took place on December 17, 2025, in Tampa, is currently under investigation by the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office (HCSO). According to a social media post from the HCSO, deputies hurried to a convenience store located at 4801 Clewis Avenue following the report of an individual who entered the store and claimed to have been shot. The victim, transported to Tampa General Hospital, unfortunately succumbed to their injuries and was pronounced dead.
At 11:58 a.m., shortly after the initial response, deputies apprehended a suspect a short distance from the scene.
