AMARILLO, Texas (KFDA) – The Texas Department of Transportation Amarillo district has released its “Know Before You Go” report for the week of Dec. 21, outlining lane closures and traffic changes on Interstate 27.
On Sunday, Dec. 21, the right lane of southbound I-27 from Sundown Lane to McCormick Road will be closed for barrier wall placement. The overnight work is scheduled from 7 p.m. to 6 a.m. Monday, Dec. 22.
Beginning Monday, Dec. 22, southbound I-27 traffic will be shifted to the west. TxDOT officials say this is the first step in moving traffic so work can begin on the proposed northbound lanes between McCormick Road and State Loop 335…
