Lafayette Parish School System Superintendent Francis Touchet Jr. said the district did its due diligence in investigating possibly forged construction bids and that it was an isolated incident.
Touchet appeared on KPEL Wednesday morning to answer questions after The Current reported this week that the Louisiana Attorney General’s Office was investigating.
