South Side Car Wash Horror As Man Stabbed In Neck Fights For Life

A routine weeknight on San Antonio’s South Side turned into a crime scene yesterday when a man in his late 20s to early 30s was found bleeding in a car wash bay after being stabbed in the neck. He was rushed to a hospital with life threatening injuries, and detectives have launched an investigation.

San Antonio police said officers were called around 7:10 p.m. to the 5900 block of South Flores Street, just south of East Southcross, where they found the man “bleeding profusely” in a car wash bay. Before officers arrived, witnesses told police the victim had briefly gone into a nearby store asking for help, then left the business. Investigators believe he is experiencing homelessness.
