SHREVEPORT, La. – As concerns mount over the city’s aging water and sewer infrastructure, Mayor Tom Arceneaux says a proposed data center project would ultimately help shore up the system rather than burden it.
Data centers are known for heavy water use, prompting questions from residents about whether the project could strain Shreveport’s already stressed infrastructure. Arceneaux said the opposite is true.
