Herriman man arrested for allegedly enticing minor who was actually vigilante citizen

HERRIMAN, Utah (ABC4) — The Herriman City Police Department announced that they arrested a man for alleged sexual enticement of a minor after receiving information from a citizen group. The group had confronted the suspect in a vigilante investigation.

52-year-old Jeramie Halverson was arrested for allegedly enticing a minor to engage in sexual activity and committing forcible sexual abuse after he was messaging with a juvenile female. The juvenile was actually a private citizen acting as a juvenile.
