ALBANY, NY (WRGB) — Firefighters swiftly responded to a smoke alarm activation at Corning Tower on Friday evening. The Albany Fire Department was dispatched to 1 Corning Tower at 6:55 p.m. and arrived on the scene at 7 p.m. Upon arrival, they received reports of multiple smoke alarms going off on the 44th floor.
