CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. (WVIR) – Good morning. It’s a rather wet start to the work and school day. Today is a First Alert Weather day for our region. Wind Advisories, and High Wind Warnings are currently in effect for portions of our region until tonight. Wind gusts are expected to be between 40 and 50 mph. Expect tough driving conditions especially traveling through higher elevations. Skies will clear, and temperatures will fall throughout the day. Meanwhile, high pressure will build in this weekend.
