NORTH CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCSC) — Boeing and Trident Technical College are renewing their partnership to train the next generation of aerospace workers in South Carolina, extending the collaboration for another five years.
The program is part of Boeing’s broader investment in the state’s workforce and will focus on preparing employees for jobs on the aerospace manufacturing floor before they ever step inside a Boeing facility.
Trident Technical College officials say the training is designed to mirror how Boeing operates day to day. Boeing identifies the skills it needs — from tools and processes to safety and quality standards — and Trident builds coursework around those expectations.
