EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WEHT) – A spike in illegal dumping and vandalism forces a natural preserve to close its parking lot.
Eagle Slough has temporarily closed its parking lot.
Officials say they’ve found abandoned trucks and drums of oil in the area. They say the wetland is home to hundreds of species and illegal dumping causes a huge hazard and makes it harder to protect the land…
