Herbruck’s Poultry Ranch Plant Brings $20m Economic Investment In Kendallville

KENDALLVILLE — Herbruck’s Poultry Ranch, a fourth-generation family business and one of the country’s top egg producers, is building a new egg processing facility in Kendallville that will create 60 local jobs.

The 75,000-square-foot facility on Weston Avenue will result in a more than $20 million economic investment in the Kendallville community and greater region. It will process about 420 million eggs annually. Herbruck’s plans to begin processing eggs at the facility in spring 2026 and is hiring now for jobs at the plant.

“At Herbruck’s our values guide us and help ensure we treat our environment and communities with respect while supplying our customers with delicious, high-quality eggs,” said Cody Herbruck, associate vice president of operations in a news release. “Our new Kendallville plant will increase our egg processing capacity to meet customer demand, allow for the local processing of Indiana farm eggs and distribute eggs directly from the site to our customers. We are excited to be part of the Kendallville community and thank local leaders for their support.”
