HIGH POINT, N.C. — A driver escaped without serious injury after a vehicle drove into a retention pond Tuesday, according to the High Point Fire Department.
Fire crews said the driver was able to get out of the vehicle and was out of the water before responders arrived. Guilford County EMS evaluated the driver at the scene, according to the High Point Fire Department.
