LANCASTER COUNTY, Pa. (WHP) — Since a December fire, the A&M Composting plant in Lancaster County has been smoldering and the smoke is impacting local residents who are inhaling the fumes.
Cinda Seig told CBS 21 that she first experienced the smell when she was heading to work one morning and since that morning, the smoke has affected her everyday life. But her major concern is for her neighbors and fellow Manheim residents, especially those with young children.
“They have small children,” she said. “Some of the businesses have, farm animals. You have construction workers that work over there. That is my concern because they are facing a lot of medical issues and things that should not have to happen, especially to children.”…
