Judge denies former BCSO deputy’s request to dismiss criminal charges

BEAUFORT COUNTY, S.C. (WSAV) — The former Beaufort County deputy, William Squires, was scheduled to make his first appearance in court after his actions against four teens in September led to several lawsuits and five separate criminal charges.

Brian Stahlheber, a neighbor who was also charged in the September incident, was also scheduled for a hearing.
