Johnson County rideshare pilot program to end next summer due to lack of funding

JOHNSON COUNTY, Iowa (KCRG) – Johnson County’s Trip Connect rideshare pilot program will end next summer due to lack of funding.

The county launched the program in December 2024, offering $2 rides in the evening to passengers requesting transportation through an app to locations throughout the county. The service operates Sunday through Monday from 5:00 p.m. to 12:00 a.m.
