GREEN BAY, Wis. (WFRV) – The Green Bay Public Works Department is providing an update after overnight snowfall created messy travel conditions Friday morning.
The department said crews began work at 5 a.m. and are plowing and treating all primary roads. Crews are also addressing drifting areas and clearing sidewalks and pedestrian crossings.

Officials expect roadways to reach acceptable driving conditions by mid-morning. Residential streets may remain snow-covered in spots but are not expected to be slippery.

Additional light snow is possible late Friday night into Saturday morning, with another round of snow in the forecast for Monday.
