KCU’s Smith Hall discussed at historic preservation commission meeting

KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Residents of a historic neighborhood are trying to save a building on Kansas City University’s campus from being demolished.

The university wants to make space for a new research facility and they want to do it right away. To do that, a historic building will have to be torn down.
