MADISON, Wis. (WMTV) – Madison police are investigating a string of thefts from cars on the city’s east side after suspects entered at least three vehicles early Wednesday morning in the Door Creek neighborhood.
Police say at least two people were working together and one of the suspects appears to have a handgun. No arrests have been made, and police are still searching for suspects.
Just after 2 a.m. Wednesday, neighbor video shows a group running down Aztalan. Another neighbor caught an attempted break-in on camera, but his belongings were safe because his car was locked.
