As temperatures tumble and frost graces the ground, the Our Path Home coalition, which is dedicated to combating homelessness in Ada County, has published their annual list of warming locations and other resources for those who may be without shelter or heat this winter.
The Winter Warming Resource Guide offers a dozen locations across the county where community members can come for warmth, beverages, bathrooms and a place to sit down during the daytime. Temperatures do not have to be freezing to be dangerous — even highs in the 50s can prove hazardous when coupled with rain or wind.
Every place featured offers navigation for further resources as well, and symbols delineate which ones offer other amenities like food, WiFi or showers…
