The Tooele City Police Department received a report of a man with a gun who had fired gunshots in the area of 320 W 200 South outside of his home and into a vehicle on his property on Thursday, Dec. 18, 2025, at approximately 9:45 a.m., according to the TCPD.
Officers arrived on the scene within minutes and made the decision to initiate secure protocol at Tooele High, Tooele Junior High, West, and Northlake Elementary schools.
