SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO) — The Salvation Army’s Red Kettle Campaign is one of the most recognizable Christmas traditions. For the Sioux Falls Salvation Army, it is the single largest fundraiser of the year. And organizers are hoping that this last weekend before the holiday, people will be generous.
Store owners in KELOLAND have told us the cold and snowy weather, especially on shopping weekends, has impacted their sales. It’s also diminished donations to the Salvation Army.

The Bell ringers will be out in full force this weekend, and volunteers are hoping shoppers will be generous.
