SPOKANE — Dr. Eric Haegar of Brewster has pleaded guilty to adulterating and misbranding medical devices with the intent to defraud or mislead.
Haegar, 57, led Central Washington Sleep Diagnostic Centers in Wenatchee, Brewster, Moses Lake and Spokane.
In June 2021, Phillips Respironics recalled certain CPAP and BiPAP devices due to potential health risks associated with the foam used in the devices for sound abatement, according to a news release from the U.S. Attorney’s Office of Eastern Washington.
