FISHERS, Ind. — A deer that was trapped on ice was rescued by Fishers police on Saturday.
In a social media post, FPD indicated that the deer was stuck on the ice at Geist Reservoir. Officers were able to safely remove it from the ice.
“We don’t just look out for our human residents, we care about our animal residents too,” FPD officials wrote in their post on X. “Thanks to quick action and teamwork, this deer was safely removed from the ice on Geist Reservoir! Just another reminder that public safety comes in many forms.”…
