ICE detains West Michigan woman charged in 12-year-old’s fatal scooter crash

KENTWOOD, MI – A Kentwood woman has been charged in a fatal vehicle-pedestrian crash that occurred this past August.

Magdalena Vail Molina, 43, is accused of driving on a suspended, revoked or denied license causing death and lying to police.

According to Kent County Jail records, Molina is also being held without bail under an “ICE detainer,” which is a request from U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement asking local law enforcement to hold a person for potential deportation proceedings…
