Mother of Navy sailor charged in double murder of roommates says some reported details are inaccurate

CLAY COUNTY, Fla. – The mother of a Navy sailor charged in the deadly shooting of his two roommates said some details reported about the case are inaccurate.

Taylor Lomax, 22, was arrested Wednesday night after the Clay County Sheriff’s Office said he shot and killed two women outside the home they shared. Lomax is charged with two counts of second-degree murder and is being held without bond.

Deputies identified the victims as 21-year-old Noely Makenda and 20-year-old Jordyn Forrestier. All three were members of the U.S. Navy and were roommates at the home on Hanging Moss Road in Orange Park…
