A National Weather Service wind advisory that covered central Pennsylvania expired overnight, but utility crews are still working Saturday morning to restore power to thousands.
After high winds downed trees and lines Friday, PPL reported about 29,000 power outages statewide last night. That number has been reduced to about 16,500 this morning.
