AMARILLO, Texas (KAMR/KCIT) – The Today in Amarillo crew tried two versions of candied cranberries on Friday, just in time for the holidays.

Trying interesting chip flavors on Today in Amarillo
Candied Cranberries (Version 1)
- Soak 2 cups of cranberries in Sprite overnight
- Drain cranberries
- Coat cranberries in 1 – 2 cups of powdered sugar
- Bake at 200°F for 5 – 10 minutes
- Let cool and eat!
Candied Cranberries (Version 2)
- Combine 1 cup of sugar and 1/2 cup of water
- Boil sugar water, then let it cool
- Once the sugar water is cool, soak the cranberries in the mixture
- Coat cranberries in sugar
