Monterey High School investigation
- Lubbock ISD is investigating an incident involving a Monterey High School staff member and student
- The district says the investigation began after a parent raised concerns and that the staff member is no longer employed by the district
Carjacker sentenced to 35 years
- A judge sentenced 19-year-old Zion Perez to 35 years in prison
- Perez tried to steal a 78-year-old woman’s car in January of last year

- Police found the body of Claudio Valente at a storage facility in Salem, New Hampshire
