Heart Attack On High, Worker Dies In Fall Near San Antonio’s Rim Shops

A construction worker died yesterday afternoon after suffering a heart attack and falling from scaffolding near The Rim shopping area on San Antonio’s northwest side. The incident happened around 4:30 p.m. in the 5700 block of Rim Pass, where medics tried to revive the man before he was pronounced dead at the scene. Officials have not yet released his name or the company he worked for.

According to KSAT, the San Antonio Fire Department said the worker suffered a heart attack and then fell from the scaffolding at about 4:30 p.m. First responders immediately began resuscitation efforts, but he was later declared dead on site.
