WICHITA, Kan. (Catch it Kansas) – A battle of two top 10 girls teams in Class 6A came down to the final shot in a battle of undefeated teams as No. 8 Wichita Heights outlasted top ranked Wichita East 54-41 at Heights on Friday night.
“It was electric,” first year head coach Jen Pillich said. “Truly blessed. Just being able to make the adjustment as a first year head coach, put everything in place, instill a team culture. It feels really good to be able to get a big win.”
