Power restored for ‘many’ residents in city of Boulder, ‘many’ still without

DENVER (KDVR) — Power has been restored for many residents in the city of Boulder, as of a 10:17 a.m. update Saturday by the Boulder Office of Disaster Management.

The Office of Disaster Management said many residents are still without power, however, as Xcel crews work on restoration.

Why aren’t more power lines buried in Colorado?

The agency said its call center is now open at phone number 303-413-7730 to assist with answering general questions. and that charging locations for personal devices and medical equipment are still available for those who have lost power.

Residents are asked to contact their utility provider for specific questions about utility operations or service restoration, and to only call 911 in the event of an emergency…
