Denver is on track for one of the warmest Decembers in the city’s history after breaking and tying heat records. The end of the month is looking to be the same, and the Pinpoint Weather team expects Christmas to be 65 degrees and sunny.
If you were hoping for a white Christmas in Denver, snow on the ground on Christmas morning might not be as nostalgic as you may think. According to National Weather Service records, Denver doesn’t usually have a white Christmas.
The odds of snow falling on Christmas in Denver are quite small. In the past 10 years, a little more than 2 inches fell in 2015, and there were only traces of snowfall on Christmas in 2016. However, Denver is more likely to have a white Christmas with snow on the ground when Christmas rolls around.
