Darius Ashley, 50, was arraigned in Albany County Court Friday, Dec. 19, on two counts of first-degree murder and related charges in connection with Perham’s killing. He pleaded not guilty.
Ashley is currently serving a 45-year prison sentence following convictions for rape and kidnapping tied to a string of knifepoint attacks in Albany in 2005, prosecutors said.
