Identity theft suspect arrested at Indian Trail bank

UNION COUNTY, N.C. (QUEEN CITY NEWS) — Deputies responded to the Allegacy Federal Credit Union in Indian Trail regarding a man attempting to withdraw funds from an account that did not belong to him, according to the Union County Sheriff’s Office.

Authorities identified the suspect as James Jackson of Charlotte.

Jackson had previously withdrawn funds from a Charlotte branch on Dec. 16. The identity he allegedly stole belonged to a white male with red hair, which prompted the bank to issue an internal alert to be on the lookout for him during future transactions…
