One killed in early-morning single-vehicle crash on Fortson Road

COLUMBUS, Ga. (WRBL) — A Columbus man was fatally injured early Sunday morning after a single-vehicle crash on Fortson Road.

The man, 39-year-old Brandon Terran McRae was pronounced dead at the scene at 1:38 a.m. on Dec. 21, according to Muscogee County Coroner Buddy Bryan.

The coroner says McRae’s vehicle veered off the road near the intersection of Fortson Road and County Place, hitting a tree. McRae was ejected from the vehicle and was killed by blunt force trauma to the head and torso, in what Bryan says was an accidental death…
