LANSING, Mich. (WLNS) — A 74-year-old woman died after being struck by a vehicle while crossing the road in a motorized wheelchair, police said.
The incident occurred around 5:40 p.m. on Thursday at the intersection of Cedar and Miller Road. The woman died in the hospital.
Authorities say they believe the driver was making a left turn before the crash. Weather is believed to have played a role, but alcohol and drugs are not. The Lansing Police Department says it is investigating the incident…
