FORRESTON, Ill. (WIFR) – 32 games, 16 teams and six days of the 64th Annual Forreston Holiday Tournament culminated Friday in one thrilling championship between Byron and Sterling Newman.
The Tigers went for its fourth straight tournament title while the Comets eyed a 10-0 start.
This is the third time they’ve met for the tourney title. The Comets won the first matchup in 2018 and Byron won the most recent one in 2023…
