A late afternoon ride on Waianae Valley Road turned devastating Saturday when a 49-year-old man lost control of his motorcycle, crashed, and was rushed to an area hospital in critical condition, authorities said. Emergency crews treated him on the roadside and determined he had suffered multiple injuries, including a serious head wound, before transporting him for further care.
