CLAY, Ala. (TRIBUNE) — After months of road construction, Old Springville Road has reopened to motorists in Clay.
“Jefferson County, Bridge Builders of Alabama, and all project partners have worked cooperatively and diligently to safely reopen the roadway,” according to a statement by Jefferson County on Saturday. “Public safety remains the top priority, and the temporary traffic control plan allows the road to reopen while maintaining appropriate safety measures.”
County officials said there is work yet to be completed, but that construction will continue while the road is open to traffic…
