CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. — Two teenagers are facing organized crime charges after police say they stole boots from stores multiple times and helped a third person run an online resale market in Chattanooga.
An arrest report we obtained says officers first became aware of the scheme on December 14th, when they were called to the Boot Barn on Gunbarrel Road by the store’s manager that afternoon. The manager told officers that a group of people had walked out of the store with over $2,000 worth of boots and other items. The report says the manager said the same group had also done this two days before, taking just under $1000 worth of items that time.
