COLUMBIA, S.C. (WIS) – Gamecock alumni, including our very own Deric Rush, hosted the sixth annual Weight of the Eight Toy Giveaway in Florence.
Weight of the Eight is the name of Marquise Wideman, Rashawn McClam, and Eric Rupert’s music review podcast. The Eight is a play on the 803, 843, and 864 area codes as they spotlight rising music artists throughout the state.
New and lightly used toys collected from drop-off locations in Charleston, Columbia, and Florence provided over 150 kids and their families with multiple toys, blankets, and other resources for the holiday season…
