FORT MYERS, Fla. — Patches of dense fog developed overnight and that has reduced visibility across the Gulf Coast early Sunday morning. A dense fog advisory was issued for coastal Lee County as well as Collier, Hendry, and Glades counties until 9 a.m. as a result. The fog should linger for a few hours after daybreak, but by the late morning hours skies should clear. If you’re getting on the road early this morning, give yourself plenty of time and drive carefully.
Once the fog lifts we will be left with a warm and sunny afternoon. Highs are expected to climb into the low to mid-80s today, making it one of the warmest days of the week.
Our afternoons stay in the 80s through Christmas, and rain chances are minimal in the short term…
