Jason Hedges is a multi-talented musician, songwriter, and actor originally from Gainesville, Florida, now bringing his signature sound and soul to Sarasota’s vibrant music scene. Whether performing solo, with his wife Sarah, or with a full band, Jason blends Americana, classic rock, and country with heartfelt authenticity and a timeless sound.
For over a decade, Jason served as a Musician in Residence with UF Health Shands Arts in Medicine, using music to bring comfort and connection to hospital patients. His passion for the healing power of music also led him to Haiti, where he performed for children in local orphanages. He went on to launch the Music Is Medicine Fund, raising more than $150,000 to support music and healing initiatives.
