MARYVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) – Visiting Listen to the Lights is a yearly tradition for many people in Maryville, but behind each synchronized song and light show is one man with a special motivation.
Darrel Pharris usually has more help with the set up and design of the the lights, but this year he had to do it all himself.
“My wife and my father-in-law always helped me out with it,” said Pharris. “My wife’s got a bad knee and my father-in-law has gotten older and they’re more limited on what they can do.”…
