At long last, Muhammad Ali is going to get one of his wishes.
Ali, considered by many to be the greatest boxer of all time, and certainly the greatest boxing showman in history, will be commemorated on a stamp by the U.S. Postal Service next month. The Forever stamp will be released to the public at a Jan. 15 ceremony in Louisville, Ky., Ali’s home city.
Known worldwide as “The Greatest,” Ali once famously said about his boxing career: “I should be a postage stamp, because that’s the only way I’ll ever get licked.” Now that will come to fruition…
