Louisiana dancers land dream roles with Radio City Rockettes

SHREVEPORT, La. (KTAL/KMSS) – Two north Louisiana natives are living their dreams of dancing professionally with the iconic Radio City Rockettes as the group celebrates 100 years of entertaining audiences in the Big Apple.

Known for masterfully designed costumes, precision dancing, high kicks, red lips, and French twists, the Radio City Rockettes are also athletes who represent a sisterhood that has touched generations.

Courtney Crain and Audrey McDonald forged a friendship at Missy Crain Dance Studios in Ruston, where they first met. Courtney was pretty much raised in the studio owned and managed by her mother, and Audrey took classes there starting at the age of two…
