BEDFORD COUNTY, Va. (WFXR) – Bedford Fire Department confirms one person is dead after a fire on the 1700 block of Longwood Avenue Sunday.

Fire crews and the Fire Marshal were on the scene for multiple hours December 21.
The Fire Marshal’s Office is working to learn the cause of the fire. They said the home is a total loss and the American Red Cross is offering assistance to the other residents.
