PASCO COUNTY, Fla. – A fatal collision on State Road 56 left a motorcyclist dead and an elderly woman seriously injured Saturday afternoon.
According to the Florida Highway Patrol, the crash occurred at approximately 4:14 p.m. near the intersection of Lajuana Boulevard. Troopers say an 80-year-old man from San Antonio was driving a Nissan Rogue eastbound on SR-56 when he attempted to make a U-turn.
As the SUV turned, it crossed into the path of a westbound Harley Davidson motorcycle driven by a 53-year-old Wesley Chapel man. The motorcycle struck the side of the Nissan during the maneuver…
